FLETTEDE FUGLE BIRD

The Holmsted family has drawn, cut and braided hundreds of different beads over three generations. It was started by architect Henning Holmsted who was an equilibrist with scissors in his hand. In 1960 this was combined with an interest in birds, which was great.

Then Lars Holmsted took over his father's scissors and more birds came from the nest. At the time of writing, the grandchildren are involved in the process and in this way the tradition continues.
